Common Management Information Services
Jump to user comments
Network management information services are used by
peerprocesses to exchange information and commands for the
(GET, CANCEL-GET, SET, CREATE, DELETE, EVENT-REPORT and
ACTION), and the structure and content of the messages such
that they might be used by "open" systems. In concept, it is
similar to
SNMP, but more powerful (and hence more complex).
